An in-progress burglary at a local greenhouse facility on Tuesday morning led to the arrest of 8 adults and 1 juvenile and the recovery of multiple firearms and large amount of marijuana.

At about 3:40 AM on December 15th, 2025, an in-progress burglary was reported at a local cannabis greenhouse facility located on Encinal Road in Salinas. About 10 subjects were reported to have broken into the facility and were loading marijuana into 4 vehicles. Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies responded along with officers from the Salinas Police Department and California Highway Patrol.

Within minutes, all vehicles were located in the area of Encinal Road and Old Stage Road. All vehicles failed to yield to law enforcement. 3 of the four vehicles were stopped with multiple persons fleeing the vehicles. One vehicle drove into a field and became stuck while another drove into a ditch. A third vehicle was involved in a collision with CHP and the fourth vehicle was able to get away.

8 adults and 1 juvenile were arrested. The 8 adults were booked into the Monterey County Jail, and the juvenile was booked into Monterey County Juvenile Hall. They have been identified as:

  • Jalen Camp, Age 23 of San Francisco, Bail $70,000

  • Zakhiry Coleman, Age 18 of San Francisco, Bail $70,000

  • Chales Hall, Age 21 of Antioch, Bail $70,000

  • Cory Woodruff, Age 28 of Oakland

  • Jonathan Green, Age 24 of San Francisco

  • Jose Velasco, Age 18 of San Francisco, Bail $65,000

  • Dominic Logan, Age 30, City of Residence Unknown

  • Dominick Leon Troupe, 30 of Fremont, Bail $35,000

  • Juvenile Male

Among the booking charges are Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Loaded Firearm and others.
