The Monterey County Jail has transitioned video visiting services to Smart Communications. Effective 1/29/2025, all visitation scheduling will be done via Smart Communications portal.

If you need to visit an incarcerated person in the County Jail, please click here to submit the account sign-up form. Once your account is created, you can request a connection with the incarcerated person you wish to visit. After your connection is approved, you will be able to schedule your visits.

After submitting the form, please allow sufficient time for our staff to review and approve your request. Expect about a weeks response time. If you have questions regarding your request, please call the County Jail’s public number: 831-755-3782.
