Press Release: Bank Robbery Being Investigated in Carmel

TYPE OF INCIDENT: Monterey County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Armed Robbery at Bank in Carmel

On December 16th, 2024, about 3:35 PM, Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at the U.S. Bank branch located at 26380 Carmel Rancho Lane in Carmel. It was reported that three suspects had just robbed the bank. One of the suspects was reported to be armed with a handgun. The suspects were last seen fleeing in a grey colored Honda Civic or similar type vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt during the robbery.

The suspects were all believed to be males and no further description can be provided at this time.
